Third choice

Stop retrofitting a process that was designed against values that fit one part of the system but not all, and redesign the system to be inclusive of all needs by staying with a new collective value system.

The binary argument is part of the problem. There are real needs in agile. We shouldn’t remove them. But we need to reframe how they work with needs that aren’t being considered within those systems.

We also need to realistically talk about agile as practiced not as we dream it is supposed to be. Bc the practice is what needs to be worked with, not the dream. The practice works with the real values.
